On March 18, 2025 3rd partners meeting and the 4th Steering Committee meeting of the TransH2 project (Transition to Hydrogen Fuelled Cross-Border Sea-Mobility) were held in Zagreb. The project is implemented within the framework of the INTERREG V-A Italy-Croatia Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2021-2027. 8 partners from Croatia and Italy are participating in the project, as follows:

The project aims to improve sustainable cross-border maritime mobility by demonstrating feasible solutions for the use of emission-free fuels (green hydrogen) in cross-border and regional maritime routes and by transferring new solutions to port authorities, carriers and other stakeholders throughout the programme area (Croatia and Italy).
The project started on 1 February 2024 and will last for 30 months, i.e. until 31 July 2026. The total project budget is EUR 2,357,035.00. The EU co-financing rate is 80%. The project is co-financed by the ERDF in the amount of EUR 1,885,628.00.
At the meeting, the project partners discussed the implementation of individual activities within the work packages and agreed on further steps in implementation.
After the partners meeting the Steering committee meeting was held as well.
