U okviru Programa prekogranične suradnje INTERREG V-A Italija-Hrvatska 2021.-2027 provodi se projekt TransH2 (Transition to Hydrogen Fuelled Cross-Border Sea-Mobility) na kojem Urbanex d.o.o. sudjeluje kao jedan od 8 partnera iz Hrvatske i Italije: uz Sveučilište u Rijeci, Pomorski fakultet kao Lead partnera; Hrvatsku gospodarsku komoru; Agenciju za razvoj Zadarske županije ZADRA NOVA; Maritime Technology Cluster FVG S.c.ar.l; Navalprogetti Srl; Start Romagna S.p.A. te Sveučilište Trst. Projekt je uspostavljen na modelu Quadruple Helix, što podrazumijeva partnerstvo između javnog sektora, privatnog sektora, akademske zajednice i civilnog društva.
TransH2 predstavlja inovativni korak ka održivoj budućnosti pomorskog transporta, a provedba projekta poboljšat će održivu prekograničnu pomorsku mobilnost demonstracijom izvedivih rješenja za primjenu i korištenje goriva bez emisija (zeleni vodik) u prekograničnim i regionalnim pomorskim prometnim rutama i prijenosom novih rješenja lučkim upravama, prijevoznicima i drugim dionicima u cijelom programskom području. Glavne aktivnosti projekta uključuju istraživanje i analizu opcija za “ozelenjivanje” pomorskih prometnih veza, dizajniranje putničkih brodova na vodik, te pripremu studija slučaja s ciljem uvođenja stanica za opskrbu vodikom u lučku infrastrukturu.
Osim što doprinosi ostvarenju ciljeva Europskog zelenog plana za smanjenje emisija u pomorskom sektoru za 90%, TransH2 projekt izravno podržava strategije EU-a za obnovu oceana i voda, te smanjenje emisija stakleničkih plinova. Fokusirajući se na razvoj inovativnih rješenja u prekograničnom pomorskom transportu, uključujući plovila pogonjena vodikovim gorivom te definiranjem prateće infrastrukture za opskrbu gorivom u lukama, projekt također podržava ciljeve Europske strategije za održivu i pametnu mobilnost da plovila s nultim emisijama postanu spremna za tržište do 2030.
Projekt je započeo 1. veljače 2024. godine i trajat će 30 mjeseci odnosno do 31. srpnja 2026. godine. Ukupni proračun projekta iznosi 2.357.035,00 EUR. Stopa sufinanciranja EU je 80%. Projekt je sufinanciran sredstvima EFRR u iznosu od 1.885.628,00 EUR. Udio sredstava za aktivnosti Urbanexa u projektu iznosi 341.550,00 EUR.
Dana 27. veljače 2024. godine u Rijeci je održan kick-off sastanak na kojem su projektni partneri raspravljali o strategiji provedbe aktivnosti unutar radnih paketa, usuglasili detalje oko budućih koraka te dogovorili smjernice za implementaciju projekta. Tijekom sastanka, održana je i sjednica Upravnog odbora, na kojoj su potvrđeni članovi odbora i njihovi zamjenici, čime je osigurana osnova za učinkovito vođenje projekta prema planiranim rokovima.
Nadamo se uspješnoj realizaciji postavljenih ciljeva i radujemo se sljedećem sastanku projektnih partnera, koji je zakazan za drugu polovicu 2024. godine, ovaj put u Trstu. Ovaj naredni sastanak bit će prilika za daljnju koordinaciju aktivnosti i evaluaciju napretka projekta, te za jačanje suradnje među partnerima.
